Better than the original but lack the variety in patterns and the ability to start on a later stage as in super hexagon, but it is a game you have to pay for so I guess I cannot compare with it.

Nice coded as I did not find any bugs. I noticed that you made the edges so that they stop you but not so you lose, which was very kind of you. It makes it possible to get through the spiral in the wrong direction. The medal for surviving 300 seconds is actually just 240.

Thanks for your thoughtful review JME!

Yes this definitely wasn't intended to be a replacement for Super Hexagon of course, I just was having fun making my own version before Super Hexagon released for desktop. I hope those who enjoy this eventually do feel inspired to buy Terry's full game :)

And great catch on the medal! I guess I tweaked the requirement when I ported the game to HTML5, and forgot to update the medal description. Fixed!

The game has no hint whatsoever about the commands only work if you write them all with caps lock off.

ONLY USE SMALL LETTERS WHEN WRITING COMMANDS!

Oh and I don't like when the kid dies.

I really enjoyed this game. I thought it was kinda neat bouncing around between nodes so I had to fav it.

I like that you went a step futher from designing the levels in the obvious "step-by-step" way that most games of this type have. Instead of just clicking on the next node and swinging where it is obvious to do so we have to tap nodes forth and back to get a wide variety of monuments. It encourages people to play in a creative way. You could have gone even futher and made some levels with new monuments(with the same items and physics) that are harder, but some players might find that frustrating.

Nice and simple graphics. It fits this game. I did not find any bugs.

A pretty well rounded dropper game. Myself I thought that it was a little too much of a grind. I got all medals before maxing the upgrades for my character. Those enemies that stand still just below the gaps are downers since you cannot dodge them, but I suppose the game should be luck based. I like the variety of quests. Not too hard or easy. I just did not understand what I was supposed to do when it told me to reach a number of floors without power. I did them eventually. Also the highscore seems broken as I got a score of 222 but it did not submit. The artwort is great and I went through the game without finding any bugs, so nice done!

Edit: I was playing on my mobile :)

Thanks, glad you liked it! I'll have a look at the scores, but I have a feeling it might have been due to a slight glitch in the Newgrounds API and/or your internet connection. Where you playing on mobile or desktop?

Good idea to make an item find game with the medals to make people watch the drawings.
It is nice to see which sketches made it into your games. I like the fact that the last drawings are coloured drawings of mushrooms.

The game crashed upon completing the last level.

Wow his first game on the site.

Yep it is a good game.

Top one of my fav flash games actually. I used to play this on pixeljam and got a highscore of two million points on hard difficulty. Too bad you get extra points for those super eggs and achievements which you cannot get again when you are upgraded. That last "Collect enough eggs" trophy was a super grind but I got it as the last trophy to my collection. I bought the golden desktop.

Nice with some secrets but it is too easy to glitch out of the map. No major bugs though. The big volcano holds two secret endings. The largest super egg is where you finish in Insane difficulty challenge mode. If you gather 500 DNA you get strength + jump + speed boost for pressing shift.

I wish there would be more running in the other direction because I feel uncomfortable with the scrolling to the left. The physics are awesome and I like the sound tracks. Retro. The gameplay could be diversed if you want it to. You can aim at collecting eggs, search super eggs, eat fishes or smaller dinos or just beat your time at doomsurfing or riding a boulder. I got a dactyl chain of eleven once by pure luck.

I never paid anything to this game. I played multiplayer as a guest and beat the players who had a lot of experience. I never donated to their Kickstarter for Dino Run 2 and seeing it getting canceled for incufficent funds made me kinda sad. Whatever..

A pearl in the history of flash games as I know many think. A little bit too hard for new players to figure out and get good at but hella fun if you give it time. The dino is kinda cute.

I remember speedrunning this game as a kid... I probably still have the paper I wrote down my time and score on at my parents. Classical.

Some levels are much easier than others. Sometime it is enough to just start it but certain levels are troublesome. I dislike that if you draw a line offscreen it visualize it but the ball does not collide with it.

Nice music and figureable physics. Also the game is so long!

It is never wrong to not do something.
